We’ll sit comfortably on our large sun terrace by the pool, enjoy a good glass of Cava or any other apéritif, chat and laugh, and then we’ll move on to a finger-licking dinner!
Our dinner menu includes appetizers, starters, a main course, and a dessert. The dishes are Spanish-Mediterranean-Style, sometimes with some Asian hints, but always packed with flavour, and produced with love from our Chef at Cortijo El Sarmiento.
Of course, the menu is accompanied by our Wine List that helps showcase local wines from our province Almería, Andalusia as well as a selection of fine wines from all over Spain.
Alternatively, we present our “Andalusian Tasting Night,” featuring an abundance of local delicacies paired with excellent wines from nearby vineyards – all expertly curated by our Sommelier, Yvonne.

To ensure you get a taste of everything at least once – and there’s plenty to enjoy – our food offerings vary a bit each week. And additionally, one week we may focus on local wines, and another week on Andalusian sherry, or our aromatic and sun-yellow olive oils produced in our province of Almería.
This way, we keep things exciting, and guests who stay longer can always anticipate something fresh. Missing any of these tastings is simply not an option! It’s a celebration of all the delightful offerings from Andalusia.
Once a week, we offer “platos para compartir” – a typical Spanish way of dining, which translates as “plates to share”. There are many Andalusian delicacies to enjoy here.
Choose your preferred meal time and enjoy the wide selection of specialities either by the pool or in the dining room. And so you then enjoy a little dinner between the two of you.
If you prefer, we’re delighted to arrange wine or sherry tastings without the “foodie” program on request. Don’t miss the chance to sample the fantastic olive oils – the liquid gold of Andalusia.

Our focus is on regional and seasonal produce from local growers to reduce transport distances and packaging.

Water-saving systems are now installed on all taps and shower heads throughout the house.
